You can mix the sound of the microphone with the music source you are playing, like a disc, tape or tuner. You can record this sound to a cassette and make a recording in your own voice mixed with the music of your choice in the background. Here is how to record the microphone mixing to a cassette with your JVC RV-NB1 Kaboom Series Boombox.
Things You’ll Need:
- Microphone
- JVC RV-NB1 Kaboom Series Boombox
- Blank or erasable cassette
Step 1:
Set the MIC/GUITAR LEVEL control on the back of the system properly.
Step 2:
Ensure that the knob is pressed in.
Step 3:
Turn the MIC/GUITAR LEVEL control anti-clock wise and bring it to MIN.
Step 4:
Insert the microphone into the MIC/GUITAR INPUT jack on the rear of the system.
Step 5:
Play the source you want from the disc, tape and tuner.
Step 6:
Adjust the volume by pressing VOLUME +/- and the MIC/GUITAR LEVEL control.
Step 7:
Open the cassette compartment and insert a blank or erasable cassette.
Step 8:
Press REVERSE MODE on the remote to record on both the sides.
Step 9:
Start the recording by pressing ONE TOUCH REC on the player.
Step 10:
See that REC appears on the display.
Step 11:
Stop the recording by pressing STOP.
